In celebration of the University of Lethbridge\u2019s 50th Anniversary, we are bringing the festivities to Calgary with an inspiring night of songs and stories from three remarkable southern Alberta-based songwriters. Please join us for a night of music with the Highway 3 Trio, featuring alumnus John Wort Hannam (BA\/BEd ’96)\u00a0and hear a live performance of our 50th anniversary song Let It Shine On. Juno nominated John Wort Hannam combines a narrative story-telling style with a great voice and a wry wit, Leeroy Stagger performs alt-country inspired rock with a voice of ferocious intensity, and Dave McCann\u2019s music is Americana-edged rock and roll tangled with the continuous trail of broken strings, headlights and a hell of a lot of laughter.<\/p>\n
