Bounce & Cadence | Six days and counting (March 30)

We are now into the final countdown to the 2023 Bounce & Cadence Symposium for Music and Audio Research. Full steam ahead!

30 March, starting at 9AM, University Recital Hall

From our estimated twelve presentations, we have grown to 23 participants – in addition to our 2 keynote collaborators. We had a sizeable response to the new performance category. As a result, we are offering a mini concert, starting at 12:30.

Wearing ear plugs has been recommended for one of the concert contributors (a limited supply of foam ear plugs will be available at the door)

Please note that the keynote collaborators, pianist Megumi Masaki and composer Keith Hamel, arrive in Lethbridge at the start of the week. We urge you to meet and interact with them prior to B&C. For instance, Masaki and Hamel are the featured artists at Music at Noon (12:15, Tuesday, 28 March).

In addition, consider attending the Studio Masterclasses: Piano Studio and Megumi Masaki (28 March in the Recital Hall); Composition Studio and Keith Hamel (28 March in W480), during the regular masterclass time slot.

B&C is a free event – no symposium registration fee
