This week’s Inspiring Light is an alumna and faculty member with the Department of Music who has overcome some serious roadblocks in her career. Bente Hansen (BMus ’86) was involved in a serious accident at the age of 30 when travelling to Calgary. The crash came dangerously close to taking away her extraordinary gift of being able to play the piano.
