Rubrics allow you to keep the grading consistent throughout the grading process. It is beneficial if you have graders helping you mark the assignments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You still can provide specified feedback, but the grade category descriptions in the rubric offer you and any graders a consistent and well-identified criterion for those grading and the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> With the transition to <strong>Turnitin LTI 1.3<\/strong>, the way you manage and share your rubrics has moved from the Moodle-specific &#8220;plugin&#8221; settings into the central Turnitin <strong>Rubric Manager<\/strong>. This shift means your rubrics are now tied more closely to your Turnitin instructor profile, allowing you to access them across different courses or even different institutions.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessing the Rubric Manager<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the LTI 1.3 environment, you no longer access the rubric manager through the Moodle sidebar. Instead, it is found within the assignment configuration layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter your Moodle course and click on your <strong>Turnitin Assignment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Assignment Inbox, click the <strong>Settings (gear icon)<\/strong> in the top right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to the bottom and click <strong>Optional Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the <strong>Attach a rubric<\/strong> section and click the <strong>Launch Rubric Manager<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Accessing the Rubric Manager in Turnitin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the LTI 1.3 environment, you no longer access the rubric manager through the Moodle sidebar.
