To use anonymous marking, you must enable it before<\/em> any student submits. Once a single paper is submitted, this setting is locked and cannot be turned on for that assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create a Turnitin<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>activity in Moodle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click Save and Display<\/strong> to launch the Turnitin window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Go to Settings (gear icon)<\/strong> > Optional Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Check the “Enable Anonymous Marking” <\/strong>box<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Grading Anonymously<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      In your Assignment Inbox<\/strong>, student names will be replaced by a placeholder like “Anonymous User”<\/strong> or “Student 1.”<\/strong> * Feedback Studio View:<\/strong> When you open a paper to grade, the name at the top left will also show as “Anonymous.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
