You may have created an exam in one course section and would like to copy and move that exam over to another section. These are the steps you will need to follow.

STEP ONE

Click on the exam you wish to copy over. Then, under the ‘More’ dropdown list, choose Backup. 

STEP TWO

You may now either click Next (keep clicking through) or Jump to Final Step at the bottom of the page. 

STEP THREE

You will see the title of your exam. Then click Perform Backup. 

STEP FOUR

Navigate to the course you wish to copy the exam into. From the main course page, click on the Moredropdown list and choose Course Reuse. 

STEP FIVE 

Under the ‘Import’ dropdown list, choose Restore. 

Under the User Private Backup Area, you will see the quiz backup file. On the right of that filename, click on Restore. 

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Continue.

Make sure you are restoring to the correct course. Click Continue.

Scroll to the bottom and click Next. 

Then again, under the title of the exam, click Next again.

Then click, Perform Restore at the bottom. 

Once you see the green success bar, you may click on Continue.

The exam will now be copied over into your other course section.
